There may be a heart of gold beating beneath this majestic gown, but that’s beside the point. The point, or in this case points, are on the gorgeous, gold embroidered collar and shoulders of “Imperial She”. These are the first signs of a fashion look designed to intimidate and control. This deep plum-colored, medieval-inspired gown with tiny waist and fitted gold stomacher is just the beginning of the story. Along with the basic gorgeousness of the gown is a plethora of sci-fi details that give this look a decided twist. A gilded ray-gun, an imperial diadem studded in amethyst and made of embroidered gold ‘leather’ are the showy bits of this ensemble while black ankle-strap shoes and matching plum gloves are the somber notes of the tune. Add amethyst and gold earrings and necklace and you’ve got a look ready to rule. ‘Imperial She’ is up to the task, a return for our girls to theatrical movie costumes.
Please note: This costume was part of the Gene Marshall Convention: The Girls from Dream City official convention collection. This is a costume set only, doll not included. Fits most 16" dolls, but will fit Gene Marshall and her friends like a glove.
